Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for managing a comprehensive array of services and programs. The COO will lead four regional site managers that oversee a variety of contracts, programs and services to veterans and their families. S/he will review on an ongoing basis services being offered and develop new programs as needs emerge. The Job Developer will expand Employment and Training Services in various industries through community development with training providers and industry employers. Additionally, the individual in this position develops and implements job development strategies tailored for NSC clients, and ensures that performance goals related to placement, training, and retention are achieved. The position requires travel throughout the NSC service area in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. This role is grant funded and the contract may be extended as long as funding is available and NSC is in need of job development services. This is a temporary, part-time position.
