Employment Counseling & Training
We are proud of our long tradition of helping veterans obtain career training and self sustaining employment opportunities. In addition to career assessment, counseling, and support services, eligible veterans that are homeless have access to stable housing.
Supportive Housing
The "Eureka House" is the first transitional housing project for veterans in Eureka. The 12-bed Victorian has been in continuous operation since 1998. The veterans residing in the house work toward training, employment and permanent housing goals.

It is with great enthusiasm that we are close to completing our new 34-bed transitional housing project in Eureka. At completion this will bring our total beds for veterans to 46 in Eureka. This project, was first awarded funding from the Department of Veterans' Affairs and City of Eureka in 1999. Through many trials, three different sites, and a variety of obstacles, we have persevered and look forward to opening in Spring 2009!
